How long does the heat pack stay hot?

About an hour depending on how you insulate it.

What is it made of and is it toxic?

The solution inside is food grade sodium acetate and is non-toxic.

When do I have to boil it?

The pack needs to be boiled after each use but not right away. They can only be stored in the white state for thirty days or less.

Can I store the pack in the freezer?

No. The pack makes a great cold pack but only put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes to get it cold. Storing it in the refrigerator is an option if you are using it as a cold pack.

Why can’t I see the button when it is white?

The button is used to turn the pack white and hot but it only works when the product is in the clear state.

How do you operate the pack?

When the heat pack is in the clear state, locate the white button inside the pad. The button has two sides, one with a large opening and the other with a small opening. On the large opening side flex the metal portion of the button up and down until the pack starts to turn white. Massage the pack until soft to release its maximum heat.
